So,
Daemons may give a hellforged artefact to a character if I have a daemon warlord but battlescribe only let's me give it if my character is my warlord.
I just want to make sure it's an issue with battlescribe and not something I'm missing in the codeX.

Yes, it's a BattleScribe issue. Good luck when trying to report it because the people there hate any form of feedback that would suggest they are not infallible.

I'm not experiencing this error.

Just created a Daemons detachment, added two Bloodthirsters to it. Made one the Warlord and I could give an artifact to the other without error.

Are your files up to date?

Sorry, more specifically, daemon prince of tzeentch.
I updated the files and still get the same issue. The codex seems pretty clear so I'm not too bothered, it's just an annoyance when Battlescribe tells me off for making him a warlord, giving him a relic/artefact then removing the warlord status.

I just tested that too, seems fine. Did it with two Daemon Prince of Tzeentch, one Warlord and gave the other the Impossible Robe, no errors.

Huh, I've tried it on pc and android, updated the android (pc off now) to the following:
My data files are at version:2.01.16
Battlescibe is at:1.1.24
And Daemons specifically are:v33
Unless I set the DP to be the warlord I don't get the artefacts option, then if I set on and remove the warlord option it tells me off.

So you want to give the Daemon Prince the artifact right? What character is the Warlord? And are they in the same detachments?

Just trying to reproduce the error!

You have the battlescribe and datafile versions mixed up. Try deleting the data files and re-downloading fresh.

Deleted all files and battlescribe then reinstalled and updated data files I still get the same issue; 1X daemon patrol detachment, 1X daemon prince, allegiance tzeentch will not give option for artefact until I select it as a warlord. Then tells me off " ~ cannot have any selection of ~ artefact (hidden)" when I remove the warlord option.

It's not a big issue as long as I've not missed something in the codex.

Have you selected that you want to take a relic from the non force org slot options?

Works perfectly for me.

(I'm not convinced you should declare all relics on your army list, but I appreciate it's useful).

Cool. If you do find a problem, raise it and usually gets fixed pretty quickly.

Do remember to be polite tho, these guys do all this for free out of the goodness of their hearts.

And please don't use the error reporting as a tool for voicing all your personal grievances.

They're fine unless you call them "liars", call people's work "sloppy", try to gotcha them, mock other users for using PL not points... tends to be about how you ask, not what you're asking.

Ah. All my tests had two characters, one with the artefact and the other was the warlord.

BattleScribe is to well written, it hides non-legal options. What you can easily do is when making the new detachment, enter in the “no force org”, it’s the one where you select daemonic affiliation. Here you can activate the gift of chaos stratagem and the option to give characters relics become available
