Hello all,

I've recently moved to London to start a new job, looking to get involved with any local 40k groups. As far as I'm aware the only one I know of for certain is Darksphere, but they don't really have set gaming nights, more a "pre-arrange it elsewhere and book a table" deal. I've seen websites for a couple of others but they either don't really care much for 40k or appear defunct, based on website entries and updates over a year old.

I'm based near Stratford, but pretty mobile and I'm working near Euston so any central-based groups I can visit after work. Ideally any groups that play in evenings or weekends.

HATE is by far the best club in London and well worth a visit.

They run Wednesdays and Sundays but Wednesdays are pretty busy so it's best to try to arrange a game first.

There are multiple FB groups depending on game system but there's also the HATE Challenge Board which us used for arranging games.

The beer's cheap too!!

Other than DarkSphere there is also Warboar in Bromlet South which has a really nice gaming area upstairs but that's a bit of a hike from Stratford.

Closest club to Euston is the central London Wargames club - about ten minutes up the road in the Escape bar.

London Wargames Club looks pretty cool. I had a look through their website but it doesn't look like they do much 40k there.
