"The Deathwatch are being reinforced with some exciting new content including mixed units of Primaris Space Marines and specific Stratagems for dealing with the vile and varied xenos that have the temerity to try to live in mankind’s galaxy. "

So with the big release of information we got this snip of information on Deathwatch. The way I read this is that Deathwatch will get the ability to mix Primaris units together in the same style that normal deathwatch marines can. Does anyone else share this interpretation or am I reading it wrong? If this is true what kind of bonuses and limitations do you see this soup squad having? Do you think it would make deathwatch the go to for Primaris armies?

If it is loaded out like the typical vet squad I think its a 0-1 on everything but the normies and up to 4 heavy weapons guys. So I am going to assume its minimum squad of 5. It starts with 5 intercessors and up to 4 can be made hellblasters. Beyond that its 0-1 of every other primaris troop type.

it's an intreasting idea. at the very least it means if you REALLY wanted a "Primaris tac squad" you could proably pull it off with death watch rules

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Yeah I am thinking it would be really solid because you could get some ablative wounds for hellblasters or aggressors. Also if say aggressor or inceptor bonuses carried over to their squads like bikers and vanguards vets do we could see some wicked synergy. Like having an aggressor for instance lets the whole squad advance and fire and an inceptor fall back and charge or shoot.
