So shower thought, who's the patron god of gambling? Would it be tzeentzch because of luck, fate and chance? Or would it be slaanesh, because it's a vice, greed, and addiction?

To many unpainted models to count.

Where is the option for Cegorach?

But do you mean gambling with your life to get new powers, or gambling with other people for money?

Kenny Rogers, of course.

Or Slaanesh, I suspect.

That depends your reason behind the gambling.

Second question: Who is the god of the buffet?

Is it nurgle because of the massive amounts of food, spreading of bacteria, and wasting organic material?

Or is it slaanesh for excessive overeating and indulgence?

Neither. Gambling itself would have nothing or it's own minor god.

At least in fantasy you have Nuffle who is about as close to the god of gambling as there can be.

Slaanesh would find all you can eat buffets amusing but perhaps not extreme enough (add in some stomach pumps to empty the stomach to keep eating and then where talking slaaneshi). A buffet does not really represent Nurgle but he would love to sneeze all over the salad bar and drool into the chocolate fountain.

Slaanesh, because gambling is an act that appeals to his domain.

However, gambling falls under the umbrella of Probability, and that is Tzeentch's ballpark.

Yep. Excess is slanneshes thing but excessive blood is Corns thing.

OP: Id say it depends. Gambling as in traditional games of fortune for the sake of releasing endorphins its slannesh.

gambling as in putting up stakes to get ahead in life. tzeench.

aka a compulsive gambler vs a card counter.

Someone needs to write about a cultist casino now. A secret den for lords and rogue traders with too much wealth and time. The deeper in you go, the more daemonic things become.

The Holy God-Emperor. He is the only true god, the god of everything, and therefore also the god of gambling. Any other suggestion will make you a heretic. Heretics will be shot on sight. Don't be a heretic, citizen.

Suggesting that the Holy God-Emperor condones gambling in contradiction to Ecclisarchy degree #419-21 is heresy and you will visited briefly by ordo Propertius briefly before you are executed, heretic.

Also, funnily enough, quoting the Ecclesiarchy degree #419-21 is also heresy. Imperial law is funny like that.
