Hey guys. I normally paint ultramarines, but my girlfriend and I have gotten into D&D recently and I painted up this miniature to represent her character. Would be keen to hear you guys' thoughts! Not often I do something as different as this, was a really cool learning experience.

Looks fantastic! The head gear steals the show, but the salamander with the glowing eyes and the jade decorations also look great. Even the texture on the cloth (that I assume are print lines) looks good.

It's very good, I particularly note the face; eyes are so easy to get even slighlty wrong and when that happens it's difficult for them not to steal focus. Pitfall very successfully avoided!

If you were after any improvements, you could probably push the shading deeper in a few areas like the cloak folds and the Salamander's neck joint.

Cool model. Was it 3d printed? The texture seems odd. I was checking Reaper's website and couldn't find it.

Thanks bbb, the mini is pewter. I bought it in a reaper clamshell at my FLGS. The cloak does have a strange texture though I agree. It stressed me out a bit when it came to painting it, but it turned out ok!
