I thought i would start this thread out of humor.

I was playing a 2v2 game. I was running tau and my teammate was alpha legion.

Against ravenwing bikers and nurgel.

My first shooting phase. Mind you i had 2 10 man fireteams. Cadre. Coldstar with fusion blasters. Breacher team full to bear. Heavily loaded stealth and crisis suits. Plus pathfinders. And massive drones.

I also did the orbital ion blast with a 5 markerlighf on a biker unit.

I failed over 90% of the rolls. And scored a whopping two wounds. I tried all the other players dice and on diff parts of the table. It was so bad the guys i were playing with bought me a new set of dice.

So. After you all hopefully got a chuckle. My question to ya all is, what is your worst game/ roll phase you can remember?

And with the new dice, i rolled better

I once tried to lift of a small squad of plague marines on an open field objective. Shot two turns in a roll with my dakka stormaven in rapid fire range. it's 100 shots from hurricane bolters, twin assault cannon, heavy bolters. Killing two plague marines total. In the same game on I think I have a picture taken of the aprox. 11'sh 4+ DR saves made by enemy daemon prince of nurgle, just enough to deny kill the warlord and tie the score on the last turn of the game.

My Dad once whiffed 24 shots at approaching Genestealers with his Fire Warriors.

I dont really remember any bad dice moments for myself, probably because that one out weighs it so heavily.

This is funny. Back in 7th before the Ork codex dropped... Maybe 6th I was playing Orks against the fairly new dreadknights. I had the shokk attak gun surrounded by lootas and Tau broadsides all on a skyshield landing pad. I was getting wrecked by the grey knights. The dreadknight had just moved onto the sky shield. Lootas, mek, broadsides vs dreadknight in close combat was gonna be bad. Dreadknight miserably fails his charge. I giggled to myself knowing that I was about to vaporize him with all my fire power in my shooting phase. I am going to win this game after all. I start with my shok atak gun. The old SAG rules were roll for strength first then roll for scatter with the 5" template. I roll snake eyes. Everything on the skyshield is immediately consumed in crackling lightening as three broadsides, 12 lootas, my big mek and the dreadknight are consumed by the warp. No saves. I have a unit of Grots left vs Draigo, some depleated termies, and another nearly dead dreadknight

I played a game with three librarians, wanted to use a lot of psychic powers. I epic failed, it was unbelievable. From ~20 powers i tried to manifest i only managed to manifest 3 or 4. I only had to roll 5s or 6s. I rolled 5 double ones. No double sixes. Two double ones in the same psychic phase on the same librarian, killing him.

In another game one centurion devastator absorbed the entire firepower from my entire army, about 1000 pts was left. 6 ML, 4 HB, twin AC, boltguns, multimelta. I either failed to hit or wound, or he made his sv roll.

Well, the only one that truly sticks out for me is one of my early games in 8th where I failed 10 of 11 3+ saves against Bolter fire with my 10 man Vanguard veteran squad... Who failed their 9" charge in my turn.

Besides that it is hard to remember, since good and bad rolls just come in waves for me.

I always have really bad rolling in the game. Lots can be told but many can't remember really clear. So just a couple most impressive unlucky moments here.

In early 7th edition, I once get five 1s rolled for armor save against 5 bolter wounds on my Terminators, losing whole squads to 5 bolters shots 20 inches away. Those Terminators die like Conscripts.

In late 7th edition, I failed every attempt of manifesting psychic powers for Tigirius in the whole game no matter it is WC1 or WC2, even he can rerolls any failed psychic test and I consistently getting 7 warp dices each psychic phase. Just can't get a single 4+ on any of those dice rolls.

In 8th edition, a Dev Squad near Guilliman with 4 missile lauchers firing frag missiles at a squad of 10 Pink Horrors, killing only 1 of those lesser Daemon. I rolled two and two 2s for the numbers of shots , got only 3 hits after rerolls , and 2 wounds after rerolls , then my opponent rolled mathmatically right which passed one of the two 4++. My Ultramarines buffed by Primarch shoots like Guardsmen....

This was either 4th or 5th edition. Charged Abaddon into a squad of guardians. Rolled a 1 for the next 3 fight phases for his daemon weapon. He took 3 wounds to it, before finally being seen off by the guardians.
