Hey all working on adding some Deathwing into my Dark Angel army,

Just wondering how people have made the most of the different Terminator Armour types (Indominus/Cataphractii/Tartaros) for different roles in their armies?

For example Cataphractii would seem like a good unit to guard your backline objectives except for their lack of heavy weapons.

Tartaros seem like they would make double Lighting Claw units for taking on infantry.

Indominus seem like the best platform for Heavy Weapons and TH/SS (though I tend to prefer DW Knights for that).

How have you all made use of the different units?

Unfortunately there's not a compelling case for terminators in most competitive games. But Deathwing Knights get the closest because the Storm Shield is where it's at. Just look out for mortal wounds! And you'll need a warlord with the Rapid Maneuver trait to reroll charges.

Pretty much all 3 variants are sub-par atm. Aside from DWK, I can only really see their use being 10 Tartaros with Reaper ACs or 10 Indominus with CMLs popping DW Assault to wipe out some infantry, however DWA costs way too much at 3 CP, and Dark Talons do this better anyway for much cheaper
