Ork Warbike boss can now let bikes and stormboyz advance and charge. Meaning we are probably going to see even more stormboy lists for turn 1 charges. XD
But also scares me becuase if they made this change now (months into our index) then does this mean they might remove the boss from the codex? Why not just wait to the codex to change this rule? they have never done this to an index before!
ALSO KROOT BABBY! KRROT FORGE WORLD IS BACK! WHERE MAH DINO RIDERS?!?!?!

They changed the ruling about Warptime on a unit that arrived as reinforcements, you can't use Warptime or the Swarmlord's abilities on them now. No more Supersonic Genestealers.

Well 24" makes T1 stormboyz charge bit dubious doesn't it? 12"+d6"+2d6"=22.5" charge range on turn 1 in average.
And what they hadn't done? Didn't they nerf commissar in index faq? Anyway bike boss will still be usable as index but yes no bike boss model on GW site=odds are super high it's gone from codex

it would be annoying as it;s a super established part of Ork lore and gameplay. It would be like killing off Space Marine Chaplains. Also we do have a FW model.
Anyway, not the point of this codex... my hidden gem is watching everyone act super confused and going full X-files on the rules to shape them to their liking. XD

Units that are taken from the table and set up again lose any 'persistant status effects'.
I'm understanding this as dispelling any active stratagems and psychic powers that are currently affecting them as well.
(Blood Angel stratagem, DaJump, Tau stealth suite move stratagem... anyone else?)

they killed off chaplain on bike didn't they?-)
And FW model!= GW model. Especially when FW has special character rules for it.

Units disembarking from drop pods being immune to Auspex Scan, Early Warning Override, and most importantly, Forewarned stratagem.
Not that it makes an overcosted drop pod look suddenly amazing, but it's better than nothing.

What are you on about? Kraken Genestealers with Swarmy can move 40" before charging.

Since their points went down and summary execution is less of a liability, commissars could a nice little close combat unit. I've been wanting to try out some close combat Catachan lists and think they just earned their way into that army.

Also won't have to worry about deepstrike in some areas depending on the club. But yes, commisars are more than playable now for only 15pts. A great cheap elite to fill up slots.

But you cant take more than 3 in 2000 pt games.
By the way, the Cronos can do the same. Smaller ballons, but terrifying as well.

3 Datasheets which can easily translate to 9 Talos, if that's something you want to do.

Did they really change this? That's actually pretty great; not saying it's the best use of points, but it's thematic and fitting - and I happened to raise a YMDC thread wondering how Drop Pods/Auspex Scans (etc) interacted.
Now, if only they could fix the Ork Battlewagon "Mobile Fortress" interaction with movement penalty/to-hit modification...
Also, that Arnorium Cherub change is HUGE.

As a long time fan of commissars (I used them over priests in 7th) I am rejoicing the point drop and the slight un-nerf to the commissar rules. They will become an amazing leadership booster to my men now, and maybe shepherd a few wayward penal conscripts to their final redemption.

I don't play DG or morty, but after looking through DG faq, morty can attack with 6 eviscerating blow attacks, and if he rolls 6 6's can make 18 attacks with reaping scythe.
Or make 18 attacks with reaping scythe and generate an additional 18 eviscerating blow attacks!! Crazy.
Imagine morty with prescience. He makes 18 attacks on reaping scythe and on average makes 7! additional attacks with eviscerating blow. (6 5's and 6's plus one 5 or 6 from reroll
Very powerful

I am happy they finally clarified the "Baneblades cannot overwatch when locked in combat" rule. It was very anti-fun, in many ways, so good riddance! Now I don't have to have an awkward discussion with my opponent before the game about how I don't want to play it.

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.
