So after using mostly my Rout for the past several years and taking them to Adepticon for the past two, I’ve decided to change it up a bit. I’ll be working on Custodes and Mechanicum (AdMech) for 30k and 40k as my projects this year. I have the Custodes pretty much sorted out and was looking at what Mechanicum stuff I have.

I was originally building them as Legio Cybernetica but was thinking of branching them out into Ordo Reductor. I’m going to paint them in a dark Mars color scheme so I can run them as loyalist or Dark Mechanicum depending on what I want to do. I’ve got four Castellax, two with multi melted, one Thatatar with the plasma mortar and two Domitars. I’ve also got 12 Thallax with 3 plasma fusils and the rest Lightning guns.

I like big stompy robots hence why I went with Legio Cybernetica first. I also like blowing stuff up which is why I’m looking into Ordo Reductor. Ignoring the fact that Ordo Reductor reduces your friend count ( ) I was looking at adding a few vindicator for the demolished cannon tanks and some basilisks for some cheap ways to bring in some Ordinance. I wanted to get a Krios Venator or two as they have that weird Mechanicum vibe and are good on the tabletop.

So should I just focus on my Cybernetica or expand into Ordo Reductor, or just round out my Mechanicum in general? Any thoughts on what I would need for either path?
