Curious to see how the FAQ has affected players, especially those who may have made a lot of use of T1 DeepStriking/close combat.
I haven't seen any battle reports specifically marked as such; so if you know of any, sharing would be much appreciated!

On a less snarky note, it's literally only been 2 days, gotta give these things some time. I played one game where I had to lose a Storm Bolter Dominion Squad (because my opponent for some reason wanted to use the Organised Play rules and I wasn't in the mood to argue) and make my assassin come turn 2. Ended up in a VP tie on turn 5.

DakkaDakka is really the place where you need anti-tank guns to kill basic dudes, because anything less isn't durable enough. |

My next report will be using the FAQ + Beta rules; 2v2, 2,500 pts a side, Nurgle Demons/Deathguard/CSM versus Necrons/1k Sons. I'll be getting the post rep up next week, one of my opponents is out of the country for the week so I can't get his list quite yet

Well, I played two 2,000 point games using the new FAQ and Beta Rules.
Normally I play my Blood Angels, but they got shelved for now while I play my Guard.
I honestly felt bad for the Marine player I faced both games, because by the time his assault units came in, most of the battle was already decided, and all 3 jump pack units failed their 9" inch charges...

I just put one up. My chaos terminators had the choice of deploying at the line, maybe shooting 1 plasma shot each at fire warriors (not a bad thing to shoot at per say but not making points back) then taking ion cannons and missile pods in return, or waiting til T2 and still taking penalty to heavy weapons. They did some good stuff T2 by spending 4CP but the game was already going the other way.
