Lost

I'm a returning player and I wonder how the list I'm going to approach looks in the new metas. For 2000pt games I'll probably drop the megas and swap a shooter boy squad for gretchen

10 Grots

Elites:

X2 painboys or Waaagh banners (haven't decided, what to take?)

10 Meganobs

Fast Attack:

3 Deffcoptas (split to make the detachment)
-Rokkits

Heavy Support:

Morkanaut

The meganobs I'm told are too slow to get anywhere in melee so they might be burning a hole in my pocket. Someone was freaking out about Waaagh banners as if they're great, I guess I should try em then right?

Plus a Weirdboy or two might fit in great. Meks are fluffier, but I think Weirdboys are stronger and probably more fun

A weirdboy solves your slow meganob problem with da jump. I like putting 5 meganobz, a painboy, and a nob w banner in a trukk. You can charge with the trukk, keep an enemy locked up for a turn, and on the next turn disembark and charge in. That is 24 S10, AP-4 attacks hitting on 3+. Pretty brutal.
