So in the scenario where someone is playing imperial fists for some reason, and is using a HBolter devastator squad with a signum and bolter drill when the following occurs, what's the outcome?

1. Urist McHeavyBolter Rolls once with the hellfire shell boosted by the signum, getting a 5 > 6
2. ???
3. Cherub reloads
4. Urist McHeavyBolter Rolls once with the hellfire shell boosted by the signum, getting a 5 > 6
5. ???

The core of the question being, then, does Bolter Drill allow for hellfire shells to be fired up to 4 times in one turn with a cherub?

Secondly, peripherally, and fishing for trouble; the wording on 'Bolter Drill' strat doesn't actually restrict to the unit selected, just that it has to be done before an IF Infantry unit attacks in the shooting phase.(there's no "for a model in that unit" clause) It's obviously a mistake but 1 CP for extra boltage army wide, even spreading to SoB and so forth, would be quite nice.

The result is 4d3 mortal wounds, assuming you roll a 6+ on the two attacks which can proc Bolter Drill, and assuming you hit all 4 times.

I won't bother to address the latter portion.

1) Correct.

2) Also correct, was pointed out months ago and GW still haven't fixed it.
