Hi never posted here before and actually never used forums before in my life ( exept 4chan), but i could use some help here. Im currently working on my second army and I could use someone more experienced to help me. The formula I basically used is 40% anti vehicle 40% anti infantry and 20% for capturing objectives. Here is my list and all help and advice is much appreciated

The plan is to have everything in the trucks and just run around the enemies and harass them while my 2 blobs of boys runs around and pick up whats left behind by my trucks. I was thinking of placing my big meks in a truck each with the burnas sens they have to get the closest to take down the main part of the enemie infantry, while the 2 truks with boys just go to a oobjective each and try to hold them with suppressing fire from the other truks Sorry if this is all a mess of a post as I said very new to this, please ask if youre wondering about anything.

Are you playing competitively or just having fun with friends? Burnas and trukks aren't points efficient for what they do right now but are still fun to use. If you want a better flamer platform try the forgeworld big trakk with 5 nobz carrying kombi-skorchas. More expensive than 10 burnas in a trukk but they have d6 shots insstead of d3 and they have ap-1. The big trakk is also much harder to kill than a trukk. I don't think putting big mek inside a trukk is worth the restriction of their force field, it would be more valuable outside the trukk to make your boyz on foot hang around longer. Splitting your tankbustas into 4 units of 5 lets you get more nobz and lets you throw an extra tankbusta bomb per unit.

If you can find the point, a weirdboy would be a huge help to your list. 62 points to get 30 boyz deep striking every turn to whatever objective you want as long as its 9" away from enemy models.

Hi well im playing for fun but ofc winning is more fun then loosing but its not super important. I Dont really feel good enough yet to go and get Forgeworld stuff yet so im keeping it to gw stuff. But what would you recomend in that case to switch out the burnas? Will probably do what you said tho about the tank bustas and splitt them upp and toss away 2 trukks in that case and maybe add a wierdboy. But do you still think i should have a big mek with custom forcefield but just running around the battlefield with my 2 blobs of boys then?

How about some stormboyz and wait for the ork codex,
buy the cool stuff that might get made for that.
I want an ork/sisters box on the order of the recent Forgebane.
New ork vehicles, for sure.

I would consider some bikes,
puttin one of your meks on one of those.

This collection has a lotta rokkits.

You have a clan in mind?

Maybe a battle wagon could replace one of the trakks and up the amount of boys in it?

Well I feel like gw gonna do what they always to with orks and give them their codex next to last so feels like a long waiting time for that. When you mean clan I dont have anyone in mind, planing to make them like "ice orks" aka blue skin so wont be the regular kind
