So I'm curious: What's the highest points Troop types mounted on small bases in the game?

Thanks!

By small base do you just mean 25mm (guardsman sized models)? Or are you also including 32mm (space marine sized models)?

I think necrons are still on 25mm bases?

Warriors and Immortals have been moved to 32 mm bases. The finecast HQ's are still 25mm, and look terrible with their feet hanging off the base lol.

It isn't troop, but Chaos Chosen still only come on 25mm, and they're 16 before wargear

I dunno, Sisters are 9ppm and on 25mm bases. They might not be for a whole lot longer, though, since SoS are on 32mm bases.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

Ork nobs are on 25 mm bases. They are 17 ppm vanilla or 30 ppm with the (almost mandatory) klaw.

Thanks. I meant 25mm models.

But while we're on that, is GW moving *everything* to 32mm bases now?

Thank you. However, going off Index Xenos 2, aren't Nobz Elites? Unless something has changed in another source?

I've so far found that Eldar Rangers are the highest at 20 points. Is that right?

Rangers are now 12ppm - same as Dire Avengers (both troops). Harlequins are a few points more, but I don't recall exactly how many.

Do PAGK still come on 25mm bases?

Counting weapons, I'm guessing a fully-kitted Harlequin (Fusion Pistol + expensive CCW) is going to win.

Or would you count Sarges? So an IG sarge with a PK? Or a Dire Avenger Exarch with ShimmerShield + weapon?

Honorable mention - Corsair. That -1 CP per unit is going to be worth more "points" than any other troop in the game.

Probably harlequins troupes, which range in point cost from 16 points base to over 30+ points per model. Probably one of the best troop choices of any army too, considering it's probably the best unit for the harlequins.

Certainly not. Human and Eldar infantry are still quite appropriate on 25mm, as are Nid Gaunts.

They would look ridiculous on 32mm. Orks might look good on 32mm, but I hope they stay on 25mms because they would have a HUGE footprint on 32mms.
Lesser Daemons should have stayed on 25mms as well, but that's a pet peeve of mine.

This^ Harlies are by far the most expensive 25mm Troop, since all MEQs have been updated to 32mm.

Rubric Marines with flamers are 33 points each. 20 without the flamer. that's 1 wound, 32mm base (unless you have the old ones, so 25mm they are.
