As the titles suggests I've been collecting 40k and fantasy for many years but throughout my teen years could never stick to one army/force and instead ended up having bits of everything, having then taken a few years off I've come back to the hobby a bit more single minded and so am getting back into things the simplest way I can aka some space marines! After playing around with a few ideas I've settled on a Black Templar primaris force, well, sort of. I've been toying around with the idea of a custom chapter very similar in style to the Templars in their religious zeal theme but based on the Knights of St. Lazarus from crusader history aka the leper knights. But who knows, thats the fun of the hobby, the possibilities are endless!!

Looking forward to being inspired by all the great content this site has to offer and hopefully even inspire others if I can!!

Hi, welcome to Dakka. I think there's been quite a few of us coming back into the hobby recently, with similar stories. Either GW is doing something right, or it's just that our plastic crack addictions never truly go away. Your leper knights idea sounds pretty cool, I'd like to see it. A bit different from the norm!
