For me all the Eternal War are trash IMHO. Five basically boil down to "Table the Opponent" and "Take Objectives last turn with Wave Serpents" while The Relic is "Lol Celestine".

Of the Maelstrom of War missions, I think Sealed Orders and Targets of Opportunity from Chapter Approved are some of the most fun I've had with Maelstrom missions. I personally think that the "Discard an Objective at Start of Turn" stratagem should be up to 3 instead of just 1 like in Sealed Orders.

However, I cannot stress this enough, screw Recon and Roving Patrol. There is a special place at Slaanesh's Dinner Table for whoever thought it would be fun to FORCE all deep strike to be unreliable in an edition where the guaranteedness is baked into it's downsides. Add in the beta deepstrike rules, plus the chance to FORCE your deepstrikers to come turn 1 is a whole new level of awful.

All the CA missions except Roving Patrol/Recon are good imo.

I don't recognise any of them really. They have similarities to other missions but each is new in a way. I've been playing since 2nd edition.

Can't be bothered to go and look but I'm 95% sure one of the CA Eternal War missions is progressive scoring of objectives... you get a point for holding each objective per turn.

Isn't there another one (or the same one?) where characters score more points?

How do either of these count as "Table the Opponent" and "Take Objectives last turn with Wave Serpents"
