Hello there everyone, so getting right into it Ive been working on a game involving mecha combat for quite some time and its final variation, Iron Dragoons, has gotten to a stage where I think Im happy to show it off.

The game is set as the age of exile ends, humans once again being able to leave the colossal bunker cities they had been trapped in for the last hundred years. As the kingdoms emerged into the light of the new world, they found themselves beset on all sides by new enemies, both human and the remnants of the Learning Machines, deadly weapons left from the wars that lead to the exile. The kingdoms where not unprepared however, the great machines of the pre-exile wars where unsealed from great vaults and put to work once again.

The game is a 1/144 scale combat game, with a focus on customisable miniatures that represent your team of combat machines, the ARMS. The game plays like many others, the round being split into movement and combat phases in which both players alternate in controlling their machines based on the weight of their craft. Victory is determined by scoring glory points, which can be earned by destroying enemy machines or by completing sub objectives of your own choice known as honours, with honours ranging from destroying your opponents in specific ways or by controlling specific points of the map.

the miniatures stand between 50 and 80 millimetres tall and come with a square 50mm base. The square shape helps players determine the various arcs of the model, Important for determining who can be attacked.

Currently I have all the Miniatures I desire designed, all the rules written out and Im working on the graphic designs required for the cards. Hopefully things will be ready to hit Kickstarter soon, but before that can happen I really do need someone to have a look over of the current rules.

I love the 1/144-scale terrain - is that part of the KS?

no, actually those buildings are from eBay, designed to go along with gundam model kits. I am planning a line of buildings for the same scale that are a little more resilient than the ones I picked up.
