Looks quite boring. I know it's competitive but there's non of the fun units in here. Can't be fun to paint all that too. Good luck though.

That's a lot of vehicles.
A couple of thoughts.
I prefer raiders over venoms for more access to dark lance and dis cannon, tho can definitely see the appeal of the venom spam.

You are really close to either a second battalion or a brigade. If you drop one of the void bombers you could take 2 succubus and switch 3 of the kabalite warriors to wyches for a second battalion.
Alternatively switch all the transports from venoms to raiders which frees up 200ish points and drop one of the fliers and you could add 3x5 mandrakes and 3x5 scourges making it a battalion. This will give you more cp to utilise. The former let's you keep the venom swarm with some close combat threats and access to some decent succubus builds, while the later gives you a second turn deep strike presence once the main force is in position

I think there's a lot to be said for Raiders w. Dissies being superior to Venoms, though I do like that you run your Venoms with splinter rifles.

Personally I'd run Scourges over Voidravens, as I think they perform better in a points vs. firepower game. I'll agree they're more fragile, but, hey, if everything is melting under blaster fire that's kind of like I have a good saving throw, isn't it?

Seems a tad light on anti-Tank, Infantry clearing you have down. How much of each you need will depend on your meta of course. Other than that I think Kabal of the Flayed Skull is significantly better than the Black Heart.

Overall the list is super tough, the biggest weakness will just be going second. Fully expected people to start exploiting that Venoms are a bit too cheap for their stat-line, they have all the right break points.

I agree Raiders are becoming better and better in my eyes, I only have 3 at the moment though and I like the swarm look of the venoms.

I've tried scourges and they are a 1 punch took, they come down shoot once and die. That single turn they are doing more but can wiff.

I like the flyers because in ITC the Reacon and Behind Enemy Lines are great secondaries and rotating the planes in and out of the enemy deployment seems too good at the moment although have not play tested it.

Possible changes in the future are scourges with haywire and raiders

Dont underestimate the anti tank capabilities of the disintegrstor cannon. They are almost on par mathwise to the dark lance.
Not to mention all the blasters.

Disagree on kabal of the flayed skull being significantly better. In the list like this they will get more mileage from the defensive boost to all the vehicles granted by black heart then the offensive boost to the already formidable offence put out by the list. It's an extra 24 wounds across all the models, which is huge.

Trait aside, the black heart gives access to the better warlord trait and artifact, especially in this list.

Yeah I get what you are saying. And if you are going to go venoms then I think you have done it right in going big.

And yes why the 5th plane would get a lot of use, dropping down to 4 still will do some work, but will just give you an extra 5 or 7cp to utilise, which is super useful. Having slightly less optimised list (and mandrakes and scourges are still very good options) only compromising one or 2 fliers for an extra 7 cp is well worth it. Especially with labrynthe cunning where it will not you 2 or 3 more.

I like venoms spam. They're the cheapest vehicles, have a decent number of poisoned shots and allow the player to spread out his units. The -1 to hit hurts plasma spam which is not that uncommon. Raiders are very good but you'll end up with fewer bodies if you stick warriors in them, I prefer having more drops but also more units to play with, especially if you play with objectives, and I always play that type of missions. I mostly use raiders for wyches and grotesques, sometimes ever for warriors but only with also 4-5 venoms.
