So, I saw the ventrillion nobles in the astra militarum codex and fell in love with how they looked. I decided to try and make an army list focused around fast attack units. For the veteran squads (light infantry), I would do the typical ventrillian noble conversion (pistoleer helmet and sword). For the rough riders, I would do some pistoleer conversions cause I would need half of the heads for the vets (already have some 28 mm napoleonic head gear and lances hanging around). For the combat engineers, I would just call them grenadiers/foot guard and convert empire/freeguild great-swords (already have shotgun/melta bits and arms too). As for the death riders (and the DR squadron commander), I would use my favourite model(s) in the GW range, the demigryph knights. They are a pretty darn good fit (the death rider mounts even have "savage claws" and don't have laspistols so I could keep the shields). Anyways, enough yammering, here's the list.

I like it. I'd be a little worried about lack of troops for objective secured. I think your engineer squads can be trimmed down by 1 to take centaurs (especially since they get the scout move) instead of storm chimeras, then you'd have some spare points to an additional unit of those guys or grenadiers or just more standard infantry. I'm just thinking there's so much wasted space in those storm chimeras.
