Introduction
Having fallen in love with the Idoneth Deepkin from the moment I saw them, I had to get some to paint straight away. So therefore, I give you my WIP test model for the Dhom-Hain enclave colour scheme.
I've made a couple of changes to the scheme in regards to removing the metallics in favour of matt colours. Having painted a lot of Thousand Sons recently, I wanted a break from anything gold, silver or bronze :/

Looks great!

i particularly like the edge highlighting on the green armour sections.

I really like the aesthetic of the deepkin lords but big models are not for me. I just like the humble core units :-)

Great paint job! Which figure is next?

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

I build IG...lots and lots of IG.

The rest of the Thralls are next followed closely by Volturnos.

Now i've got the paint scheme sorted I should hopefully be able to paint them pretty quickly as they're so much fun to work on.

Finished up the first Dhom-Hain Thrall completely. Very happy with the scheme.

Very nice. That green armour is great. Not been following any figure manufacturers for several years, so interested to see what the deepkin models are like

Briancj: You have the Mek Taint, MT, and the only thing we can do is watch in horror/amazement.

While my Thralls are in various states of completion, I took a quick break to test out a colour scheme for Volturnos' Deepmare mount.
