Hey there Dakka...due to some really odd trades and a great sale, I am now the proud owner of the nurgle portions of 3 dark imperium boxed sets.

Can you throw me some help in how to make that into some kind of army?

so thats

60 x pox walkers

21 x plague marines

3 x blight drones

9 x hq choices (some could be, i assume folded into plague marine units as champions or some such).

I guess you could convert one of the lord of contagions to typhus a I give the poxwalkers +1 S and T.

is that something he does as an ability or is that a psychic power?

I know nothing about death guard.

That looks pretty good. Are there any psychic powers it stratagem you would recommend?

Running the Noxious Blightbringers as proxy Foul Blightspawn would probably help the list quite a bit. You could drop an extra Lord in the Vanguard to free some points up. That should also get you enough to upgrade one character to Typhus which would be a nice bonus for all of those poxwalkers.

With three Malignant Plaguecasters you will know all of the Contagion powers unless you want to double up in case one dies.

Too heavy on characters, light on firepower. You own models of 3 DI sets, which doesn't force you to use/proxy EVERY single model.

Convert/proxy a Lord of Contagion to Typhus ASAP. 3 Drone and 1 HQ could also make a Outrider detachment, which fill the 3 detachment slots with freeing total points. You could have points space for 2 Crawlers.

This is what i would do, dont use everything itll make you weaker, this comes in at 1500pts and makes use of the best and gives you decent CP. Convert a Lord of Contagion to Typhus because Lord of Contagion sucks and Typhus and his ability is an aura, combine it with putrescent vitality on poxwalkers to make em good, use the 10 as your inital screen and and the 20 for when the combat begins.

After that id go for probably some plagueburst crawlers and end up replacing the 10 man poxwalkers with a large cultist blob and replace a plaguecaster with a daemon prince with wings, x2 talons
