So I have a scratch built ork Battlewagon from when I started playing 15 years ago before battle wagon models were a thing. It was super outdated modeling, and the GI Joe treads I used are still great, so here's some progress on updating it. This is the original build.
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Ripped the crooked back off to update it. GI Joe treads underneath still golden.
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Here's the back deck getting built out with panelling. Much better than the tagboard. I used cosplay plastic sheeting as the base.

Dry fit ork truck walls in place. Have them removable, so 'ardcase will probably be stripped down to the bed panelling, with a roof over the forward compartment, or killkannon turret.

Got the truck rollbars on there. Ended up with a pretty tight dry fit on the back walls, not sure if I'll even need magnets.
Automatically Appended Next Post: The mini gun big shoota was made of toothpicks, so the ends didn't feel very gunbarrel-like. Drilled and cut some plastic and ones, feels much better.

Rokkit and mini gun magnetized. 2nd big shoota poster tacked on just for fun. Cupola shoota from when twinlinked was a thing, need to add rotation grooves. Lots more work to be done.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Need to hinge the rear hatch, luckily jet engines still look good.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Here's the Kanyon side. Need to magnetize the Kannon to fit Zapp gun or Lobba, might change placement to a turret on top, make this a claw/wrecking ball mount.

Made a jagged metal mouth grill over the original cardboard one. Used cosplay plastic. Great stuff, cuts almost as easy as foam core, but with smooth sides. Perfect for chunky ork teeth. Trying pure acrylic rivets. Acrylic paste, with a tiny bit of matte medium and water to make them circular. Have to paint them up to see how they are, but will save me hours riveting the treads.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Front grill, and big shoota from the original build I fixed up. Had some from boyz, but liked the scratchbuilt original. Lol hopefully this whole thing doesn't look like a pile of junk when I'm finished, or at least it looks like an orky pile of junk.

First welcome aboard. The whole model's concept is great. I love how your truck walls won't need magnets. It shows a solid design on your part. The kill kanon looks like it will really blend in it the vehicle. The overall orky feel is wonderful. I really like the grot standing inside the left tread. Little touches like that make a model. Good luck with it. I'm subscribing to it.

@Pointer5 Thanks! Had to take the grots out temporarily, but they’ll go back in as I finish it.
@Myszopek Thanks!
Had a game with it, so primed it up and attached some close combat weapons. No turret for the points I had, and some blue tack . A fun test run. Ran it ‘Ard case style.

Amost finished my big mek on bike build. Got a fixer-uppa arm on it, a magnetized KFF, magnetized CCW arm, flippable welding mask, switchable KMB with the claw end arm, and a few more parts. Still needs the cow catcher over the front wheel, as it's pretty back heavy, and I need to make a shokk attack gun to hook on where the KFF sits, since they can't be taken at the same time.

Impressive conversion work all around!
I like how you build your models in a way that they can be fielded with different configurations.
I actually just finished a Big Mek conversion using that same old Wartrakk. Interested to see what you come up with it if you get back at it.
