Recently I was turned on to the game through my local comic/game shop and I am really looking forward to getting started.

I am most curious in a core USAriadna army, do you have any pros/cons/advice? For style of play, I would prefer a med-long range with heavy volume of fire type of army. I also like stealth, camo, quick strike stuff as well.

Please feel free to give me your thoughts, I am extremely open to feedback and looking forward to it.

Gathering the Informations.

Start with the big USARF Army Pack. It's a cheap way for you to get the starter set, a Devil Dog(specifically: the best Devil Dog as he comes with a Chain Rifle and the individually available one is Heavy Shotgun), and a Maverick with Boarding Shotgun. You also get scenery and a small game mat which is fantastic if you're just starting out.

Next suggestion would be to get a Dozer with Traktor Mul Controller and Traktor Mul boxed set. Grab a Blackjack of AP HMG or T2 Sniper to add some heft to your list and it'd be a good thing.

Basically, anything USARF is a good addition for you right now as a start. You're not going to be doing stealth or camo or quick strike with USARF. We're the guys holding down the trenches, not the sneakers.

Thanks for the help!

I had to order the army pack thorough my local shop, however I picked up a Blackjack today to work on/add to the army.

I'd suggest the Marauders and/or Grunt boxes to go with your army pack as well.

Marauder Haris and a Grunt Fireteam can be a real bear to deal with for some armies.

Thank you.

I will definitely look into that/make the addition.
