Hello guys and gals. I am on the fence about purchasing a Dark Elf Black Dragon. The reason why I am still undecided is that the model´s weight is centered upon it´s tail and it just looks like it will break apart at any moment. So here is the question:
Do any of you had good/bad experiences with the model´s stability?

Gathering the Informations.

It's fairly stable. While the weight is centered upon its tail, the tail is anchored to the rock bit and it is fairly secure once you do so.

Pretty secure model. The tail is a bit thicker than what it looks on the box.

My wife has one. We have no issue with fragility. But it DOES knock over easily if you haven’t glued it onto the base yet. But I figure that’s probably a given.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

If you want to transport it often. I'd advise not gluing down the wings. Saves a lot of hassle.

Yep, base is fine, wings are not. Magnetise them for storage and transportation. You could ignore this you are just going to place it on a shelf to look at.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

You read my mind. Things like monsters with wings and Imperial Knights stay definitely at home. Just to think about transporting my Ork Stompa fills me with dread. This thing is so fragile despite huge amounts of glue and wire. Nowadays only BB teams and Necromunda gangs will be transported because I don´t even like to lug around 30-50 models for 40K.
