Hey guys. So, we've got under a day to decipher everything we can about the video that GW just released:

https://www.facebook.com/GWWarhammerAgeofSigmar/videos/798770283653100/

Something is coming to Warhammer, Age of Sigmar, and the only extra hints that I've got are these 4 images my local GW has posted to get the local group hyped for Saturday (May 12th):

These were posted in that order, one a day, up until today.

Well? What do we think it's going to be? Put your thinking caps! If you guess it right, you get approximately 2 Internets!

I'm thinking it's official leagues at their shops.

Ugh that would suck. Official leagues would be the death knell of any shred or remnant of narrative gaming that we get to do now there.

This also from all i have heard is a BIG shake up to AoS.

To many unpainted models to count.

If it's written by Bottle I am SO down for that.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Having just gotten into AoS recently, I guess I'm alright with a big shake-up before learning too much more! I guess we'll see what's happening tomorrow... there's NO WAY those guys in the video aren't looking at some fantastic new miniatures.

It's a new edition for AOS - the one thing they said they wouldn't be doing anymore, when they launched AOS.

You're going to provide a citation for that claim of yours.

No I'm not, because it's not possible for me to go years back and find the exact quote, but I remember that one of the sales points for AOS, was that they wasn't going to make new editions all the time, but instead update the existing game through the general's handbook.

... And what do you think they are going to do now? They have outright stated that the warscrolls and core rules are going to be updates, all while being free online, and that this GHB will release very close to the update.

Did you hear the news? They are going back to square bases again. What a great time to be alive.
