Working on Grey Knights right now, have a lot of Strike Squads with silver shoulders. I've been searching for info on heraldry for PAGKs and finding a lot of articles that contradict each other.

Is there an "official" source on how heraldry should be displayed? The visual references I have are the current Codex, the old Daemonhunters Codex, and rulebooks going back to 5th (along with a few years of White Dwarfs.) The majority of the photos in these books are from the front or back, typically tilted so the right shoulder pad cannot be seen.

I don't think there IS an "Official" order for displaying heraldry on GKs either way. I normally did squad markings in simple patterns, made it easier to organize things IMO.
