Does the auxiliary support detachment, the one that costs 1 CP, count against the detachment limit, 3 detachments for a 2k points game?
If you're using the detachment limits, then yes, it does. Keep in mind the detachment limit is only a suggestion for Organised Play, it's not a default Matched Play rule.
