This may be a dumb question but once a noble decides to be a Freeblade and wander around, how does he actually travel around the Imperium? Does his House gift him a ship to take his suit and leave, even though his name is scrubbed from records forever in the House? Does the ship come with a full crew that basically go into exile with him?

Probably takes a ship with him or attaches himself to a nearby imperial crusade and freeloads of one of their ships

each knight have their full support staff and vehicles, when one becomes a Freeblade, the staff goes with them, if they don't have a viable transport, who's gonna say 'no' to IK support, if they don't have room, they make room for a IK. They are the cream of the crop of imperial armory.
