My next game im playing T-sons and Khorne Daemons in 2k points. Against Admech (which has a LOT of 4+ saves and 3t), would bloodcrushers or fleshhounds be better? Hounds deal more attacks, crushers get in a charge easier, are SLIGHTLY more durable and wound on a 2+ instead of a 3+...But are slower and far easier to kill with multiwound weapons.

Umm. I'm assuming you are talking about rubic marines? and not admech which is another faction all together?

If so, i would suggest Flesh hounds. As bloodcrushers AP-3 is wasted against 3+ Armour because of 4++. Also, they have the added benefit of being able to deny one power per unit, which against Tsons is really useful.

If you are facing admech, i would suggest flesh hounds still. Their faster mobility (Movement 10" over 8" for bloodcrushers) and the fact that most admech stuff will probably be AP -1 means you'll be taking invulnerable anyway. And crushers are much more expensive compared to their flesh hound counterparts (75pts for 5 hounds vs 141 for 3 crushers. Same T, less wounds overall). And the AP -1 is still good at dealing with 4+ or even 3+ armour.

Running a character behind them (herald of karanak) is easier cause of the shielding the squads give. AP-3 sounds good on paper. But most of the time is not worth the points.

Also, herald would make the flesh hounds Str 6, so still wounding on 2's with re-roll charges

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

Bloodcrushers will deal more damage to everything that isn't a T4 target and are better versus multiple wound targets. However, hounds are faster, can deny the witch, aren't as effected by multi-damage weapons and it doesn't hurt their damage output as much if they're locked in combat for a turn or 2.

It isn't really about maths, it's about what you want from a unit: do want raw power or would you prefer more utility, MSU, a way to negate the Admech's use of high strength-high damage weapons, etc.
