Army comes in at 1998pts

Pink horrors die slowly with the 4+ invulnerable save. On top of that each unit is putting out 87 shots a turn. Most of these shot will be S5 due to relics/warlord traits/spells. On top of that they re-roll 1s to hit.

This army destroys hordes. And the amount of fire power it puts out eventually cripples heavies. Also it’s hard to get at the characters. The enemy has to get past the horrros first.

Anyone like it? Suggestions on making it better?

Firat of, i do like it!!! The pinks are so durable and with herald
Wounding stuff for 3+ mostly.

But what I would do is.
Take away supreme Command Detachment, 1 changecaster and Changeling. Add one DP to each battalion.

So you have 2 DP and 2 (or 3) changecaster. With 2 CC
You will have something like 250-300 points left for maybe exalted flamers with higher damage and still protected due to character rule.

If you can and want, add a minimum 1 unit of oblits from CSM. I do love all the pinks but I only have 60 and they can not compare to an unit of oblits sadly.. they are so good.

How are you’re games going for the list? Would love so feedback for the footprint, holding and scoring objectives.
And how you play them, like 2 units in front for getting the chargers and then fall back while the others shoot them to pieces or..

Yes, if you lose a Change caster, Changling and the blue scribes you can fit in some exaulted flamers (great in this list) and some point for splitting. Since your opponent is going to be shooting Horrors all day long you might as well have some Blues and Brims on standby to catch bullets, keep units about the magic 20 pinks and if necessary eat moral casualties.

Completely disagree about putting is Oblits. Yes they are great but in this list they will eat every anti-tank gun on the field and not last 5 minutes.

With those changes if should be a very effective list, but dull as dishwater to play with and against.

Looks much better, but I'd definitely get some points for splitting.

If you replace the 22 pinks with 10 Brims, you'll have about 120 points left (enough for 15 blues and 15 Brims), so 30 more wounds to break through before they can get even one unit of pinks below 20. Also gives the option of summoning in another Exalted flamer against high T lists.

Going to be a great list in the current meta, few mass troops list will hold up against 450 horror shots a turn.

One piece of advice for playing it, if the enemy is playing assault elements, club the pinks close together in blocks to prevent the units getting trapped in combat. As soon as those units start getting caught up in combat, your games is going to become MUCH harder.

Time to get painting!!!

This looks really good!! Durable 4++ 170 wounds all shooting 3 S4 shoots with reroll 1 to hit and (1 to wound i assume?)

Be aware of snipers!!! My last game i got my Fluxmaster got sniped T2 and the pinks really wants that buff.

Do you own all of that models?

Not really.. use 2 units in frontline and opponent won't be able to get in on all the other pinks. then fall back and shoot to kill.. but yes, an army made to close combat migth be difficult to handle but overwatch each time you need to get in takes a toll..

until you find units with fly or ds behind ur back then that stop work, yes it takes a toll but im pretty sure you ll struggle a lot. I played blobs of horrors many times you need to protect them, the only thing they do great is shoot if they cant they sucks, and in melee they wont last long they can save ay 3++ yes but r3 no way to deal serious damage and low morale kill them anyway.

I charged the Swarmlord with 18 Pinks in my last game (a few had died already). They ended up doing 3 wounds over two rounds, getting counter-charged by a Trygon Prime, and keeping Swarma locked in CC while my second swuad got into range before falling back and letting the second squad shoot him to death. Pinks in combat are definitely not the worst thing ever....

if tyr chanrge pinks with swarmlord and/or trygon well...lets see what happen if 20 geno charge a 20 men geno squads+blroodlord pumping them makes about 17.-18 dead , assuming you use the stratagem to save at 3++ and i m not counting battle shock of force opponent spend 2cp to make them stay. horrors ARE durable indeed but i wont count on them to keep heavy assault armies away. demons. have other units made to do that, not pink horrors.

What a nightmare that would be to play against lol. I agree the changes to include the exalted flamers is nice.
