Looking for ongoing feedback on my White Scars army... I had just started getting them painted and on the table when 8th Ed. changed their outlook. I'm trying to use the existing models I have without too much renovation. I've now built most of the models needed, so there's not much flexibility short of ripping people's arms off... which I will totally do as needed. I got some good feedback on melee biker builds over in the Tactics forum, but I like to house my lists permanently here, and all feedback is welcome. Thanks!

Battalion/Outrider/Vanguard, 119 PL, 10 CP, 1998 Points, 22 Bikes!

In general, the Khan, the Chaplain, an Apothecary, and the Veterans roll around maximizing the "Advance and Charge" option. The Captain, Ancient, and second Apothecary and the two melta-heavy Bike squads roam around using the mobility to optimize range and target selection while enjoying rerolls, getting extra shots when killed, and putting melta bikers back in play each round. The Librarian and Scout Bikers likewise optimize ranges and positions for psychic powers. The Scouts are for board control and character sniping, the Tac for objective camping and the occasional missile, and the Razors provide cover and extra Dakka.

Updated with a new plan... and now that Apothecary White contrast paint is available, I'm going to actually build, paint, and field this list or something very like it.

Everybody zooming everywhere... I'm in. I went for fluff, but between betta-beta-bolters for chaff and close-up AT in place of ranged, I think it could answer most threats and play pretty effective board control. Put pressure on the enemy's guns with bikes so that objective-camping Razors get a free pass... or something like that.

Updated for an initial 2k build-and-paint list... not super competitive, but fun and based on things that are already owned and close to complete.
