Simple lore question.

When an Elf dies (Be it Idoneth, Khainite or other), do their souls go back to their god or do they go to Shyish?

The impression right now is that they should go to Shyish, but they go out of their way to 'rescue' the souls before they end up there.

Seems that when he found out about Tyrion, Teclis, Malerion, and Morathi's little game with Slaanesh and how they've been rescuing the souls for their own use, that that was the last straw for Nagash.

Nagash is taking his idea of being the "god of death" seriously isn't he? Although he did work hard to pinch every other death gods power (except the Dwarfs) I suppose.

Something of an understatement given the events of malign portents and soul wars ;-)

Run a whole lot of wfrp and other rpg's, play The Woods and Kill Team, gather and look mournfully at imperial guard knowing I'll never finish enough to use them on the tabletop
