Hello, I am David/DJHollisterr

Been gaming for a couple decades, just got into WH40K, I hate painting minis but my roommates love it, so in a good situation.

Lots of hair-pulling with the rules; we try to play with Tournament-esque rulesets, but that is becoming really aggravating because I am rapidly becoming aware GW seems be as vague as possible. I lean towards RAW interpretations, as do two of my three other gaming pals. Makes for lively discussions.

Joined this forum because I am tired of always playing the game with a new ruleset and want to get plenty of ammo to shoot at the hair-brained ideas my pals come up with so we can stick to one set of rules I am familiar with. Of course, BETA isn't helping.

Anyhow, look forward to data-mining you guys in a friendly way and getting through all this WH40K rules headaches so I can go back to playing and enjoying the game that looks neat, albeit expensive.

EDIT: Spelling

If the odds of rolling three 1's when rolling 3 dice to make a 2+ Wound Roll is really 216:1 then how come it happens in every frakking game?

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
