I want to run 20 deathguard possessed with a daemon prince and malignant plaguecaster, with a patrol detachment of Tsons with Ahriman. That way I can get prescience, diabolical strength and warptime off on the possessed from Ahri. Blades, miasma and vitality on the possessed from DG psykers. To finish off I only need a single nurgle daemon psyker to cast Virulent blessing and they're maxed out with powers and aura buffs.

Question is I want run Epidemius to get the tally going and make the possessed even more killy. To get the tally up you need to kill things with 'nurgle daemon' units. Between the deathguard codex and nurgle daemon codex you essentially have the following:

Daemon Prince
Possessed
Bloat Drones
Blight Haulers
Crawlers
Defilers
Mortarion

Nurglings
Plaguebearers
Beasts of nurgle
Plague Drones
Furies
Great Unclean ones, poxbringers, sloppity and and spoilpox.

Which combination of these models do you think would get the tally going up the quickest while still remaining competitive at getting objectives and surviving to turn 6 in ITC missions? I was thinking a few nurgling units to be ahead of the possessed so that they can't be targeted by using the flies strat. I find death guard winged princes pretty killy so 3 or 4 of them would help get the tally up while they can't be targeted unless they're the closest unit. Having a 30 man blob of plaguebearers can be killy with the strat bonus to damage and nurgle loci next to a spoilbox and sloppity. But bloatdrones are pretty survivable and can move a lot faster. Dual plaguespitters on 3 or 4 of them can kill a unit or 2 per turn while giving me the mobility to move around the table. What do you guys think a good combo would be?

If you want to get Epi's tally up early you basically need shooting. As of such I think the PBCs are a good choice. IIRC, Bloat Drones won't be able to do much until T2.

I can't take oblits because I don't have a csm detatchment. I was thinking of making a nightlords nurgle possessed list so they neg leadership and can be a further -1 to hit with the stratagem and miasma. That way I could take oblits. Oblits probably wouldn't do a lot til round 2 though when they came down
