Hello, I have slowly built an army of Nurgle which I used a day ago and got spanked by a horde of beast men. To that result, I was hoping I could get some advice and ideas on how I could improve/evolve my army.

I am pretty new to AoS so please go gentle, I would like to effectively have a competitive army whilst also being able to easily substitute units for more casual local games. I really like the design of the Blightkings which is why I would like an army based around them. I have considered running a blight cyst but not too sure on how that would go?

LEADERS

Lord of Blights (140)
-General
-Grandfathers blessing

Poxbringer (120)
-Tome of a thousand Poxes
-Favoured Pxes

Lord of Plagues (140)
-Flesh Pealer

UNITS

Beast of Nurgle x1 (100)
Putrid Blightkings x10 (320)
Putrid Blightkings x5 (160)

So if I understand correctly you plan to advance/hold ground with your 15 blight kings and chuck deathheads while rerolling ones?

The poxbringer is there for the debuffs and the beast of nurgle serves as the objective capper.

It's a great 1000 list, it is by no means the most competitive thing out there, but it isn't bad.

"Beyond that opening are my enemies. Behind me are warriors who would happily turn their weapons on me if they thought they could get away with it. Do you really think I'm doing this to try and impress anyone? I know who I am, and I don't give a greenskin's fart what anyone thinks of me."

Hi, being pretty new we have only played games where we just fight it out so objective games I haven't thought about yet but I would use my blightkings to hold objectives whilst my beast attempts to hold off flanker.

I have considered taking out the poxbringer and the beast, making it a blight cyst warscroll with 3 units of 5 blightkings annd the Lord of blights and running them as a squad block whilst the Kings throw heads and swing away.
