The fantastic Japanese sculptor and artist has released a new mini of Nyarlathotep.

I have bought one already, and it's phenomenal.

I would like to ask your advice on something though...

I really like him...except for his legs!!

You can see they are thin, and humanoid.

I would really like to replace them with tentacles, like the ones on the rest of his body.

I also think the legs are too thin, that's a very heavy body and tentacle supported on just 4 little legs! (This mini is huge)

What I would like to do it send the legs to a good sculptor, who use them to create thicker tentacles that still fit into the body and base sockets (The fit is very precise).

I am happy to pay for this work, do you guys know anyone or anywhere that I can go to locate such a sculptor?

It's not much work, but I really don't have the skills to try this myself.

Thanks!

I don't know any sculptures, I just wanted say how incredible the model is. Perfectly lovecraftian.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Even simpler that as you are asking for help you should imbed a pic, it takes four clicks...

There have been a lot of people spamming links to drive hits to their blogs/youtube etc. and it irritates some people, Grimtuff is obviously one of them. So rather than being snarky why don't you take your own advice and imbed a pic.

I emailed around half a dozen freelance sculptors.
One offered to do the work, upon receipt of the ENTIRE model, for a mere 700 - 900 Euro.
Another said he didn't have the skills?
Oh my..
Looks like I'll have to do this myself, using Blue Stuff to copy the tentacle textures and apply to the legs.
They really do look sad and gaunt little things underneath that powerful otherworldly design...almost comical.
Just my opinion...

No its doubtful as its a pretty specialist request working on an existing mini, heres a few places to inquire though I have no idea about availability, prices or interest;

Maybe one of them will want the job.

Ahh,I decided to use Blue Stuff to copy the existing tentacles and other interesting textures and apply to the legs me'self.
So the legs will be bulked up with my preferred look and still carry out their function of holding the mini up.
