Simple question but I'm not coming up with an answer, which means I'm missing something.

If you have a rule that allows out flanking (such as the IK Codex strategem 'Sally Forth') can you arrive outside of your deployment zone in turn 1? Because I thought the beta rule only covered deep striking

“Deep striking” isn’t a term in this edition - it’s used as shorthand for a variety of abilities. Similarly, outflanking is a grouping term, not a rules one. The Stratagem you describe would be bound by the beta rule if you’re using it.

There is no such thing as Outflanking or Deep Striking in 8th. There is only arriving as reinforcements.

The beta rule covers all instances of arriving as reinforcements.
