After the Rule of Three came down I had to re-work my alpha strike Sisters - Tallarn force to be better suited for beta-striking. After much tweaking I am ready to field the following force:

Bn Detachment Sisters (Desert Spectres) - all on table
108 (2x) Canoness, bolter and Inferno Pistol
516 (3x) Battle Sister Squad (5), 3 Stormbolters, Superior also has Inferno Pistols
Dedicated Transports - Repressors (Hvy Flamer and 2x Storm bolters)
543 (3x): Dominions (5), 5 Stormbolters, Superior also has Inferno Pistols
Dedicated Transports- Repressors (Hvy Flamer and 2x Storm bolters)

Battalion Detachment Tallarn - all outflank
35 CO, Plasma Pistol (Warlord- Old Grudges, Dagger of Tusakh)
239 Tank Commander, Punisher Gatling Cannon, Lascannon, 2x Plasma-Cannons, SB (Re-roll 1s)
20 Platoon CO, Kurov’s Aquila
186 (2x, Squadron) Artemia Hellhounds, Multimeltas
125 (3x) Infantry Squads, 1 Squad w/ mortar (this squad deploys on table by Platoon CO)
228 (3x) Commando Squads (12 commandos total), plasmaguns

2000 pts, 13CP (less 6 for Ambush (x2), less 1 for Aquila) 16 drops (8 on-table, 8 outflanking)
12 Plasma guns, 8 Inferno Pistols, 31 Stormbolters, 8 bolters, 2 multimeltas, 2 plasma cannons, 1 Lascannon, 1 Punisher Gatling Cannon, 6 Heavy Flamers, 2 Artemia Inferno Cannons, 1 mortar, 30 lasguns, 1 plasma pistol, 1 laspistol

The Sisters and Dominions deploy in Repressors with the Canonesses accompanying the Battle Sisters. One Infantry Squad with mortar and the Platoon CO hide on an objective- Kurov’s Aquila to farm more CP.
The Sisters are there to kill screens and still be tough to shift from their bunker boxes.

That’s 8 total drops on the front line set up, with the Dominions setting up as close as possible to my opponent and being able to Vanguard scout move forward or backwards 12” as needed.
The rest of my force comes in on the flanks. The 2 Infantry Squads will screen my 3 all-Plasma Commando Squads, the Tank Commander and the Warlord CO. I will keep these units within 6” of my CO to take advantage of re-rolling all wounds against a chosen enemy unit (Old Grudges). The CO will order re-roll 1s to all my Plasma Commandos, and the Tank Commander can order himself to reroll all 1s. The two Artemia Hellhounds will come on at a different location and wreck havoc on my opponent’s rear.

Anyone run a similar list? It’s awesome to outflank and totally devastate an opponent with all the firepower coming on at one time.

I don't have much to offer on the guard side of things, but I have one thought on your Sisters. By including inferno pistols on all the superiors, you have mixed range packages in every transport. If you're in range for melta, you've placed the tank in charge range, and a single inferno pistol isn't going to remove a threat reliably, more likely to chip away at something big or one-shot a single dude. If you're in optimal storm bolter range, your expensive pistols aren't doing anything.

What about going dedicated melta in at least one or two of your Dominion Repressors and stormbolters everywhere else? Four or five melta shots will shut down something big with enough reliability to be worth parking your tank in easy charge range, and the Stormbolter tanks can lurk further out in rapid fire range (or at most flamer range) to mop up chaff and make your opponent work for every charge. I know you've tasked your Sisters with taking out screening troops, but they spam fast moving melta batter than anyone in the game, and I think you could do more to capitalize on that.

Overall, this looks like a fun, fast moving list!

Thanks for the feedback!

My preferred tactic is to get as close as possible to a tank or MC, shoot them with my Infernos, shoot bolters into something else, and then charge into a unit with my Repressors so that I can tie something up. True, Infernos only have a 6” range, but I use them more as backup. My true anti- Heavy are the 12 plasma vets and plasma Tank CO coming on from reserve.

Your Tallarn Battalion contains 10 units (as does your Sisters Det.)... You can only Deepstrike/Ambush with 8 (unless you use another 3 CP for the stratagem a third time.)

As a SoB player, my advice for the Sisters' side. Drop the inferno pistols. Like MacPhail said, you have a lot of mixed ranges.

For the BSS go all storm bolters, for the Canonness if you want her to have some punch, go with a plasma gun.

Use those extra points for 5 meltas on the doms. A repressor with 5 meltas zipping around is a huge threat.

Also, the BSS are nice to have in repressors, but they are not really worth it. I would move them to Immolators. I prefer the heavy bolter option, but a lot of folks go with the flamer. You just have to have the BSS hop out once you are 12" away and then you are rolling 16 S4 shots from each squad - and if the canonness is nearby re-rolls and a plasma shot.

I don't see how this list works for outflanking.

Kurovs Aquila = Infantry officer + 1 infantry unit
Tallarn Ambush = Up to 3 units (only 1 of which can be a vehicle)

So in most games, only 5 units can be outflanked, as you can only use each stratagem once per phase. Unless I'm missing something.

Do I love the concept? Yes.

It’s only 8 units that can outflank:
2 Ambush Stratagems (6 CP) allows 6 units total to outflank (each can have a vehicle unit); and the Dagger of Tu’Sakh allows another 2.

So I take the Tank Commander, 2 Hellhounds (as a unit), the Commander with the Dagger, 3 Command Squads, and 2 Infantry Squads

Possible noob question: don't you have to limit yourself to a single use of the strategem? As per strategem rules with one of same per phase max
