As a Chaos Space Marines player, I'm considering purchasing the new Renegade Knights box set to build a chaos renegade knight for (friendly) matched play. I know that chaos knights aren't considered competitive right now due to a lack of the relics, stratagems, etc. that Imperial Knights have access to in the new codex but I'm not really concerned about that. What I am concerned about is whether or not the datasheets provided list actual point values for Renegade Knights for matched play; if the datasheet only lists power levels I don't think I'll be interested in making the purchase. I was a little late to 8th edition so I only have the regular CSM codex, not the earlier chaos/demons index (that I'd rather not purchase at this point). It may be my fault but I'm having a hard time confirming whether or not this is the case in the research I've done - is anybody with the box set able to help me out here?

Afraid It's only power no points.

Welcome to New GW, where conversions are illegal and only power level matters.

Just rely on Battlescribe for the points, at this point the Renegade Knight costs are all correct and the bugs are ironed out.

Ignore BCB; it does not.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.

Pretty strong advice, not just in the context of this thread.

I think if you’re after points values, you’ll need to grab Index Chaos. I expect it can be nabbed on eBay fairly cheaply these days.
