Greetings. Me and my friends have decided to pick up three armies in a year. One Xenos, one Imperium and one Chaos. I am currently playing Necrons and was planning Sisters of battle för imperium and Thousand sons for Chaos. I have no real knowledge of how to play them. But I am a big fan of Tzeentch, like the lore and love the models. And now I have a great chance to buy some models for cheap from one of my friends.
Magnus
2 boxes of Rubric marinens
1 box of terminators
Blue and brimstone horrors

What should i add?

This is a good place to start with the TS. I would recommend purchasing Ahriman and 1-2 Daemon princes as your HQ options. These guys are beasts. Then get a big squad of tzaangors, as these act as a screen/hurt bomb. This will leave you with some points for anti tank. You choose: preds, helbrute, vindicators, contempors, leviathan's. Anything. You are then nearing the 2000 points mark and your list looks like this:
Magnus
Ahriman
Daemon prince
10 rubrics
10 rubrics
30 tzaangors
Scarab occult
Anti tank.

This is a good cover all bases list that will hold up in semi-competitve games.
The tzaangors are a must, use the DMC first turn, warptime them, and get a first turn charge off. This is also the unit you will want to buff, other than big M. You're going to want to eliminate as much threat to Magnus as possible, and then send him into a precious unit to smash.
The scarab occult are not a must-have so you can drop them if you need more points. If you want, you could even run a renegade baneblade. There are plenty of cool things you can do, and I've only given a base list.

You can't Warptime a unit that has just teleported using the Dark Matter Crystal, unfortunately.

Thank you for the replies. I was personally thinking Tzaangors, a Daemon Prince and Predators. How should Tzaangors be equipped?

Morgan Hill, CA

Add two Predators with lascannons to that list.
Run your Rubric Marines as 5 man squads and skip the 10 man squads (too expensive and a waste of resources for the most part)
Seconded the Tzaangors purchase. That's a great one.
Consider adding an Exalted Sorcerer and/or a Demon Prince.

I personally equip them with two Tzaangor blades and don't bother with the pistols.

Tzaangors can ride in rhinos.

Bow down to Guilliman for he is our new God Emperor!

Martel - "Custodes are terrible in 8th. Good luck with them. They take all the problems of marines and multiply them."

"Lol, classic martel. 'I know it was strong enough to podium in the biggest tournament in the world but I refuse to acknowledge space marines are good because I can't win with them and it can't possibly be ME'."

DakkaDakka is really the place where you need anti-tank guns to kill basic dudes, because anything less isn't durable enough.
