I have a few questions about the following rule:
"If a model has several ranged weapons, it can shoot them all at the same target, or it can shoot each at a different target."
RAW this means that if you shoot you have to fire all of your weapons.

1. If I have a model with 3 weapons can I fire 2 at one unit and 1 at another or must they all target different units if they aren't all on targetting the same thing?

2. If I have a single weapon out of range on a model with multiple weapons can that model fire at all? The model only has permission to fire all of its weapons so if it can't shoot one it can't shoot any.

3. If a squad has grenades can they shoot? A single model is given permission to throw a grenade but not fire its other weapons but the rest of them don't get that permission, so they must shoot with both their grenade and normal gun or nothing.

4. If somehow they can still shoot if they also have a pistol can they still shoot as the pistol rules say you can fire with the pistol or with all of its other weapons, which would include grenades.

Suffice it to say that the strict pedantic RAW and what 99% of people actually play in practice do not allign on this one! You have to ask yourself what are you trying to achieve here? Being technically correct for internet points, or actually understanding how the game is played?

My two cents:

If there are a bunch of guns, and you ask someone 'how many of these guns can I fire', if their reply is 'you can fire all of these gun', that doesn't mean you HAVE to fire all the guns, firing a subset of them is fine. That's how I see it anyway.
