As the title, I have been looking at buying some stuff off them but have been hesitant as I have not been able to find any reviews. I am most interested to know how good their casting is and whether it requires much clean up.

Ah, okay. That's a negative from me - ordered from Brigade Minis in the US. Sorry!

I ordered from them a few years back (3-5 years?).
Everything arrived as promised and there must not have been any serious issues since I didn't make a note to avoid them.

I bought their 6mm land combat stuff. The models were nicely done with good casts and everything was present.

Similiar experience for me. I got really into Aeronef a while back and placed multiple orders. Everything arrived quickly, accurately and the casting was well done. Expect some mold lines and flash, but overall the casting and quality is great.

If you are buying anything metal that uses a flight stand, I recommend buying their base weights. They really help keep models from being top heavy after assembly.

I've brought a lot from them several large orders all complete and high quality casts. I'm happy to unreservedly recommend them. Got some of their merchant men in my gallery if your interested

I've bought some 15mm infantry from them, very nicely detailed with some useful multi-model bases.

Had good communication and helpful answers to questions, I can definitely recommend them.

Cheers all, I have put in a small test order (22GBP), shipping is remarkably cheap and they don't charge VAT for foreign orders.

Will update the thread as and when the models arrive.

Bringing this to a conclusion.

So I placed an order on the 26th of June for a pack of satellites, three Halifax light cruisers and a Fischer super dreadnought from their British spaceships line.

I recieved a shipping notice on the 3rd of July and the order arrived today (14th July).

I am extremely satisfied with the order, as can be seen in the photo there is no warping, no flash, very (very) minimal mould lines and there are no excessive or badly placed gates/vents. The only slight issue is that the dreadnoughts body does not fit together as it should and will require the pegs being filed down and some filling but this is a slight niggle.
I had no need to contact them about anything so I can not say about their customer service nor speed of reply.
Overall I give them a 9/10.

Looking great!

I have been putting off ordering some Aeronef from them, so I am glad to hear things went swimmingly!

I cannot recommend these items enough if you are getting into Aeronef. The larger ships are top heavy and these base weighs are a life saver!

These weights are also great for Crimson Skies if anyone still plays that.

That dreadnought looks great. How does their spaceships compare with other spaceship lines?

I’ve seen them come up before, somebody was using the fighters from their spaceship line for launch assets in DFC and I’ve been pondering doing the same.

I am using the dreadnought as a proxy in B5 ACTA and it is slightly longer and twice as wide as an EA Omega from Agents of Gaming, I would guess it to be a pretty good match for a BFG cruiser, the little ships are a little bigger than BFG escorts. So they will scale pretty well with the vast majority of ship ranges (like Dropfleet etc.).

Brigade list the actual ship size in mm on their store and it is accurate.
