Just picked up an army with the following.
-1x Tyrant
-1x Butcher
-9x Ogors
-6x Ironguts

Clocks in around 1000 points. I'm thinking a Gargant and maybe an Iron Blaster. I wanted to add in some Grot Spider Riders, but it looks like they're not Allies, so I'd have to take Grand Allegiance Destruction.

Mourfang Cavalry from Beastclaw Raiders is an obvious response.

With my ogres it is what I use. I have no butcher, or the big mammoths because they have a different aesthetic, but Tyrants, Ogors, Ironguts, Iron Blaster and Mourfang Cavalry are an staple.

Mourfangs don't offer you much more movility because normal Ogors are allready fast, but they have a very good punch and are perfect to offer you reliable charges from the sides. They require a lot of firepower to be put down (Or... mortal wounds :S ), so that is something that isn't shooting your strong core of foot ogors+Tyrant+Butcher.

Also, some gnoblars. I know they suck, they are literally worse than the non ogor goblins, but they will probe very usefull. To camp certain zones, negate charges, or just be an annoyance.

The Ironblaster is missleading, because it isn't really a piece of artillery but it works more like a chariot. Don't be afraid to move it, shoot and charge. Just don't charge things that can kill it on meele easely.

Cheers! Yeah, I think Mournfang Cavalry or a Huskard is going to be my go to. I don't necessarily want a whole army of them, but a splash could be fun. I'm also considering some Grot Spider Riders for some fast moving Cavalry and big Mortal Wounds.

Is the Gutbuster Wartribe battalion no longer legal? Research tells me there was some snafu with "Ogres" not existing any longer, as the warscroll is "Ogors" as of GHB17, but is that really it?

Well anyway, if it's legal in GHB18, I'd say try to fill out a Gutbuster Wartribe, which is easy as you're almost there:

3 Leadbelchers

Loads of benefits from doing this, thanks to the battalion itself but also all the incentives for taking formations. But yea, we'll have to see if it gets points I guess.
