So here is what I have - Mind you I have 155 points left over. I could add a battalion of Guard into this list as well. for more CP and more bodies. Please give me all comments, concerns and questions.

Primaris Watch Captain - Master Crafted Bolt-Gun - Relic - Bane Bolts of Eryxia

3 Troops

(x3)

Going down the list:

Deathwatch devour CP. I'd definitely take some Guard.

I'd go with a Storm Bolter over the master crafted bolt gun on the Captain. 4 shots means 4 chances at mortal wounds.

I really like to try and get a Inceptor in my Intercessor squads. They tend to be the best output per point (but not very durable) and let you fall back out of combat.

Relic means you need another Heavy Support option to take the Leviathan.

I'm not sure what you're getting out of the Blackstars. They're best feature is the transport and you've got nothing to transport. I'm kind of the opinion that the most important Wargear choice for Blackstars is Frag Cannons.

I took the Leviathan out. I'm seriously thinking of doing CP farming with the relics from the blood angels and maybe put some death company in as well. I want to build a tournament list as well. I will post what I think is good lol.

Riever Carbines benefit from SIA and I think are hilariously underrated.

If you are going primaris deathwatch you are doing it for the Pimaris SIA bolt wisconsin hard cheddar, not the plasma.

Where are the stormbolter veterans flying around in corvus blackstars?

I know you're trying to be fluffy and I don't know what models you have, so if any of this commentary violates what you're going for please ignore it.

Consider replacing a hellblaster in each squad with an incepter, be it with a plasma exterminators or the assault bolters, having the ability to fall back after getting charged is huge. People can't just charge a wave serpent, rhino, infantry squad into your squad and deny them all of their shooting power.

Consider running the beacon of angelis instead of the banebolts. The ability to warp a squad over the the guy the relic is fantastic.

If you have the models or are willing to grab the models for it a squad like this

5 Intercessors Auto rifles, 4 Aggressors Auto Bolterstorm, 1 Inceptor plasma/assault bolter. throw in a auxiliary grenade launcher for 1pt, its worth it.

This unit has a mixed toughness value of 5, but because it's equal in number you essentially have T5 primaris marines across the whole squad. It can move/Advance and fire all of its assault weapons (all of them have assault weapons) at no penalty and can shoot after falling back. If you ever get into a situation where you don't need to move your aggressors can fire 104 shots, rerolling to hit if they are by a master, rerolling 1s to wound if it's by the book relic or the mission tactic. Hell you can even give them +1 to wound rolls with a strat. It also works if you get charged, or an eldar unit with fly lands within 12" you and you pop a strat.

Another thing to consider is lack of psychic defense. Run a Librarian, preferably one with a jet pack, the Psychic Fortress spell is amazing at keeping those expensive 20+ point models alive through smite spam.

Absolutely run an AM battalion for the command point farm, hell run a BA battalion also if you want.

I've zero experience with corvus blackstars, but I know the leviathan dreadnoughts are badass.

Closing comments! I really don't like hellblasters, sorry if this is raining on your parade, you're already able to wound a hell of a lot with special issue ammo and their regular weapons. It feels like paying 9+ points for nothing in a lot of situations. I get that hurting vehicles can be a bit of a pain in the butt... Allies can help cover anti tank. Or the sheer volume of fire from aggressors on top of stratagems, rerolling hits, and wounds of 1 can kill a lot of common vehicles. Killing big things like knights, slam captains!

I really liked dakanaut's unit composition.

a suggestion I might make is to rethink the blackstars and leviathan. Both are kitted for a literal wall of bullets when you have nothing to engage enemy monsters or tanks.

With a claw and the cyclone melta your leviathan could cut a wraithknight's shin off just to shoot it in the balls in melta range.

As far as the blackstars they are the premier troop carrier. Keyword troop. Primaris do not fit in them. Awesome to requisition as a transport as an Inquisitor, but a poor gunship when the imperium has a multitude like the Vulture.

Take an AM detachment for a tank commander for some big accurate guns and a CP battery.
