So I've got no experience with Blades of Khorne or any of the mega synergy that Bloodbound is known for, but I've played Khorne Daemons on and off since
AOS landed, and keep struggling with whether I should head into 2.0 with them or stick to somebody with magic, as this edition is sooooo obviously about wizards. The jury is still out on that front, however I do keep poking at my DOC, primarily because the army is getting close to built (it was destined for
40k but that game's a bit of a mess for red daemons too). Summoning is a neat (and I think needed) edition to the army, though we'll have to see how it plays out. I'm aiming to mostly drop down a free Bloodthirster late game myself
Anyway, I think your plan sounds pretty decent, going with double Start Collecting kits. Bloodletters are basically mandatory, Skull Cannons I think you need to reach out and get the blood tithes going (or die and do the same thing), and I'm guessing Blood Crushers aren't as bad in
AOS as they are in
40k? In that game they mostly get run as Skullmasters, who are much better value, not sure if
AOS is the same. Also a 'Thirster @ 1000 must be a cool thing, right?
My main point in posting is to say you may want to consider breaking the pure daemons thing and get a Bloodbound mortal hero or so to support your warp bois. I caved pretty early on and got a Bloodsecrator, who I feel is almost an auto-include given that 'Letters have a single freaking attak and that magic is going to be hammering hard at your dudes. 160 points in the new book but I still think really worth it, and for all I know there's no negative to including him in a Blades of Khorne army - it's not like there's a buff for going pure daemons.
Finally, if you want to read a sad report that all the pictures were lost for, here's my last report with my DOK:
