Part of it is if the enemy army even has the capabilities to deal with it. About 2/3 of armies pretty much show up and have to pray I roll like garbage because that's the only shot they have. For example, I once went up against an Ironjawz army; round one all his heroes were dead. I didn't get the double, but at that point it didn't matter much. But that other third is where it get really difficult for me since mistakes can become very punishing very quickly.
Something that shouldn't go unmentioned is that this army can (and has) lost against anyone provided if it rolls poorly enough; every weapon team, the vigordust injector, the battalion, warlock engineers, and the allegiance itself all have means for self-inflicted mortal wounds. To a certain degree it's entirely expected (as risking such is entirely beneficial -on average-) but it can become too much. At any rate my motto is that if you didn't lose at least one model to self-inflicted damage in a given game then you aren't playing Skryre right.
