There is always a sense of achievement when the first unit for a new project is born. Will is grow and flourish into a great horde of 28mm loveliness or lie festering at the back of the cupboard with the other half forgotten ideas?

Here is a 28mm Perry Miniatures Italian Wars Pike block dressed up in the colours of the Swiss Canton of Lucerne.

Lots of pics, discussion on the figs and even a You Tube video on't blog, enjoy !

I love the pike down look! I have just got into Pike and Shot and ordered the King and Country starter set. Will be doing the extended front bases with pikes down for sure!

That looks pretty cool!
Like the idea of separating the square bases for the whole unit. Will make it a bit less cumbersome for the unit (especially the lowered pike section) to move through terrain. Will also check out the blog later on.

Faithful... Enlightened... Ambitious... Brethren... WE NEED A NEW DRIVER! THIS ONE IS DEAD!
