We moved from London out to the Cotswolds ( north west Oxfordshire) six months ago. Looking to get back into 40k - maybe a club or a few people for form a small local group?
Thought I’d give this one bump. Also looking to maybe get into Kill Team when it’s released soon.
Anyone in or around Oxford or further west give me a shout ☺️
There's a few in the area.
Abingdon Wargames Club - mostly historics (picture beardy guys who know lots of WW2 trivialities), but do the occasional other bits and pieces. There was a small warmahordes contingent last I went, but not much GW.
Carterton and West Oxon wargamers - really friendly bunch who play almost anything. And if they don't play it they're happy to learn.
North Oxfordshire Wargaming Club (Banbury) - only poked my head in here once as it's a bit of a trek for me, but they seem a friendly bunch.
Newbury and Reading wargamers - the big group in the area. Plays anything including wargames, boardgames, cardgames and RPGs. Has two locations, with the Newbury one being closer to you.
Swindon's a bit far west for me, but I'm pretty sure there's a couple of group that way.
