Im writing a 40k fanfic and part of it involves the defense of a hive world near the eastern fringes and I was wondering if there was any notable chapter homeworlds in the area who could be called in to help the defend the hive world. also while where at it any major ecclearchy worlds from witch some bolter bitches might come to the hive worlds defense.

If it happens in the Eastern Fringe, the most likely Chapter to come in is the Ultramarines. They have a large domain in the Galactic South-East and are pretty much the main go to for the likes of Tyranids, Orks or basically anything in the South-East quadrant of the Galaxy.
Other than that, I can't think of any specifically, but you can google "40k map 8th Edition" to have a look for homeworlds
