Hello all! I recently moved into a new place and decided that I was finally going to spend some time to get a painting desk with lighting that really worked for me. I was sick of trying to paint in darkness, or worse having shadows all over my work space making it very difficult to see what I was doing one second to the next. I built the whole thing and a few people asked for a tutorial, so I figured I would post it here as well.

Very nice. Saw Mathiew Fontaine had this and found another tutorial very similar. Everyone seems to use these Aluminum bars. Why not just use HVAC hanging strap, its pretty firm but already pliable.
